Day 5

I've made it to day number four! So far so good!

I think I've decided to officially start my hundred days of dinosaurs with Gus' first appearance, so that'll make this day 3!

Now that I've sketched a couple of dinosaurs, I've discovered a bit of a different direction for my hundred days of dinosaurs project. I'm going to follow this little guy named Gus through his adventures in the Jurassic period.

I have no idea where it's going to go, so it'll be a surprise to me too!...hopefully a cohesive one...fingers crossed.

Well I'm up in the middle of the night and thought I'd post another dinosaur sketch.

I'm calling this one 'the birthday'.

I'm only the third day in on a hundred days of dinosaurs and I'm wondering WHAT was I thinking?!!!

I realize how little I really understand about drawing these things, so I'll be showing all my warts on this project, if I ever make it through!

Just saw the new Planet of the Apes movie and got inspired to do more simian stuff. There's something strangely compelling about stories of apes and their interaction with man.
So here's a sketch of the King of them all!
